Doucet-Keiper Wedding: Khimaira Farm, Luray Virginia

Sarah and Matt have easily become two of my favorite people over the past year. First off they are probably the only two people I can get my boyfriend to agree to a double date with. Second, they are hands down two of most genuine and kindest people I have ever met. I met Sarah when she was a bridesmaid for a wedding over a year ago, so when I got the email that she was engaged, I instantly knew I HAD to be her photographer.

Matt and Sarah: Engagement

Matt and Sarah met working as lifeguards at a community pool when they were still in high school and quickly developed a close friendship. Whether it was Sarah’s enthusiasm for life or Matt’s killer smile, they fell for each other and began dating their senior year of high school. A few years later, they had kicked butt at a long distance relationship for college and were back in Warrantor, VA. One early morning, Matt picked Sarah up to go on a hike to Bearfence Mountan. At the top there is an epic 360 degree view so the mission was to see a killer sunrise. Once they got up to the top, Sarah took a panoramic shot and once finished, found Matt on one knee asking to spend the rest of their lives together. I mean. COME. ON!

Their wedding day at Khimaira Farm in Luray, Virginia was breathtaking. The owner, couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. She was there throughout the entire day and was helping in every way possible without even being asked. Her son- in law Josh
, was the BEST at DJ-ing and kept the house rocking until the very end!!! So many wonderful vendors made this day perfect and I can’t wait till I am lucky enough to shoot there again!
