Abigaile and Sam drove down from DC to the lake for a weekend away from the noise and spent sunrise with me at Lake Anna State Park for their engagement session. I told them, “Oh lets meet at sunrise so we can avoid any crowds!” Well little did I know that an entire triathlon also was going on at sunrise. We pulled into the parking lot and it was filled with food vendors, flags, swimmers, bikers, and runners. I had no idea how we were going to make this work! How was I going to deliver a serene engagement session at a quiet lake when an entire event of hundreds of people was surrounding us? Well we somehow made it work! We tucked behind trees and found empty corners of the docks and captured a little piece of their love story.
