Usually I have the opportunity to meet my couples in person before I am booked for their wedding day but hectic schedules limited us to a phone call.  I was a little nervous about chatting about wedding packages and photography just over a phone but boy was I wrong! Within minutes of chatting to Sam on the phone, I felt like she was an old high school friend who I was catching up with.  We instantly hit it off and all I thought was, “Yeah, she’s a total Debbie Ringle bride!” A few months later and a few rain cancellations…. we met at their apartment in Crystal City for their engagement session.  I had never shot there before and we were fortunate their apartment was right in the center of tons of cute photo locations.

I had so much fun shooting these guys and two hours FLEW by. Can’t wait for their wedding this October in DC!
