I often say that becoming a mom really transformed my business because I feel so much more when taking photos of children. This family is expecting their second child and I know exactly the emotions going on right now. I feel like this is a sacred time for the parents in these photos. The last few days where that little girl takes up every bit of space in their whole world. I wanted to focus on that in these images and really capture the relationship between the three of them. Because in a few short weeks, there will be one more little baby taking up some of that space. We walked around Old Town Occoquan and about froze in these harsh January temperatures but you can’t tell with all this warm energy in these photos!
