It seems like yesterday that I was photographing Cynthia when she was a high schooler but in reality it was years ago and now it’s time to move into the era of being her wedding photographer! Last month I shot her engagement session at Government Island in Stafford, Virginia and we agreed to meet at sunrise to avoid hot temperatures. Listen… it didn’t work and we were sweating and hot. Plus I was about 35 weeks pregnant and waddling the whole way down the boardwalk. Kiko was recovering from a knee injury and I am sure we were a sight to see as we walked down the boardwalk and into the woods on the hiking paths. You wouldn’t be able to tell any of this from the photos though… Cynthia looks flawless! I loved talking to them and hearing about his epic proposal in Hawaii and their vacations and future together. Their wedding day next year will be the best time and they have proven they are photo ready!
