Amanda and Michael opted for an intimate wedding celebration with their closest friends and family at the Pelican Cove Resort in Islamorada, Florida. The sun was high, the palm trees stood still with not a bit of breeze, and the distant sound of resort guests laughter lingered by. But in a tiny corner of Pelican Cove was Amanda, a stunning bride relaxed as ever, getting ready with her daughter. I remember thinking to myself as I hung her wedding dress out on her balcony for shots was that I wish more brides took this approach. A quiet day under the sun feet away from the ocean. There were so many special moments that stood out to me on this intimate florida wedding day. Honoring the loss of their daughter with a chair at the ceremony site, running into the ocean to make out while the summer rain poured down on them, to their guests dancing barefoot in the sand. It was all so perfect!
