I was planning on meeting this beautiful family at Chatham Manor in Fredericksburg VA only to find that they were closing the road down to access the property before they were going to arrive. Talk about stress! My clients were not from this area and I had to think on my feet quickly trying to give them a new location and I just knew that I want wide open space for their toddler to run that wasn’t near a busy road. I went to one of my regular spots Prospect Hill at the Fredericksburg Battlefields and we had the entire place to ourselves. My family was able to run around and pick flowers, hug each other, let their toddler explore and get a beautiful backdrop for portraits.

I’m so glad this family was able to escape the noise and chaos from their hometown city and come join me for the evening!
