Several months ago, Krysty and Tony contacted me about photographing their wedding on Leap Day at a super gorgeous resort in Mexico. Obviously, I did a happy dance and squealed (yes… squealed) YES over the phone. For several weeks we swapped ideas and photos back and forth and gushed over Mexico plans. Then….. reality kicked in. Planning a wedding is stressful! Planning a destination wedding can even be MORE stressful. When they realized many of their friends and families would not be able to travel so far, they came up with an even more epic plan. Elope. Not just elope…. but elope in Paris, France. When I got the second phone call from them with their new plans, I squealed even louder! I had never been to France before and was SO excited and honored to be able to capture such a special day for them.
Krysty and Tony are both fire fighters and paramedics in Northern Virginia and actually met when Krysty got assigned to Tony’s medic unit!!
This was such an amazing experience and I can’t even thank them enough for giving me such a great opportunity.
Krysty and Tony, thank you for letting me explore Paris with you and capturing such a special and epic day for the two of you. I wish you nothing but adventure and excitement throughout your journey together.
