My cousin is home-schooled in Spotsylvania County and his group is SUPER active.  They get to go to the coolest field trips and share so many fun activities when they are not taking core classes.  My aunt invited me to a lavender farm when they were visiting a few weeks ago and of course I said yes!   I love(d) the color of lavender and the scent!  Well I thought I did.  It sure is a pretty flower but after eating a lavender flavored cookie, I think I am done with lavender for a while! 🙂  On the up side, this farm is absolutely beautiful and have tons of products for sale such as lavender, other potted plants, lavender flavored snacks, and TONS of lavender scented beauty products.  It is a definite must for the family looking for an inexpensive day trip activity.
